SPRING PULL KNEE JOINT

The spring pull knee joint is usually only mounted on the lateral (outside) side of the knee. Two are never used on the same leg since in a normal application, the patient would have limited use of their hands and pulling both joints at the same time would be difficult. A standard drop lock is usually placed on the medial (inside) joint.
This joint is released by pulling up on the handle. Then when the leg is fully extended, the joint automatically locks using spring force.
This joint is a nice option but it does add extra width of the knee joint and it can be difficult to get a normal size pair of pants over the spring pull.
